Suitsupply has opened its first-ever Canadian boutique in heart of Toronto.

February 2014 — why should Americans have all the fun? After a successful run of U.S. openings, global men’s fashion brand Suitsupply has opened its first-ever Canadian boutique in heart of Toronto on Feb 19. “Toronto isn’t just Canada’s largest city,” says Suitsupply founder and CEO Fokke de Jong. “It’s also one of the world’s style capitals — a vibrant, cosmopolitan, and thoroughly modern city. In fact, you could argue that the only thing it’s missing is a Suitsupply location.”

Until now, that is. Suitsupply’s newest outpost is housed inside a converted mansion on Hazelton Avenue in the upscale neighborhood of Yorkville. Brimming with Suitsupply’s signature eye-catching photography and bold color, the 2150-square-foot space is the perfect backdrop for the label’s tailoring-driven collection, which ranges from hats, gloves and scarves to impeccably tailored suits and sportcoats made from the finest fabrics from top Italian mills like as Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico. Warm, welcoming, and full of energy, it’s the perfect environment for the guy who wants to grab brunch at one of Yorkville’s top-tier restaurants, stroll in and try on a few suits or sportcoats — and have them altered to sartorial perfection on-site at the tailoring bar, which, as with all Suitsupply boutiques, is located front and center. The shop also features Suitsupply’s ever-expanding collection of sportswear, shoes, and other accessories. And, this being Canada, there’ll be plenty of warm outerwear on hand, too.
